James 24 married b Canada Deciple
Elliza 25 married b Canada Deciple

1742. John R. Jackson-14205

Jackson, John W M 23 Farmer AL SC VA
Jackson, Irene W F 20 wife keeps house TX AL AL
Jackson, Olan W M 1 son TX AL TX
Jones, Rich,d W M 11 cousin AL blank AL

Irene Unknown-17082

An assumption could be made that Irene's maiden name was Oland. Her middle initial was 'O' on the 1900 census and she named her first son Oland. But on the 1910 census her middle initial looks like 'E'.

1743. Stephen A. Jackson-14206

1880 Census Dist 100, Precinct 6, Smith Co., Texas
Jackson, Emma W F 50 Wd keeps house VA blank blank
Jackson, Stephen W M 21 son single farming AL blank VA
Jackson, Annie W F 15 dau single at home AL blank VA
Jackson, Abner W M 12 son works on farm AL blank VA

McMillon, Emma W F 8 Gr-dau AL GA AL
McMillon, Stephen W M 6 Gr-son AL GA AL
McMillon, Janie W F 3 Gr-dau AL GA AL

This family was enumerated twice in 1910. The child Kay is a son on both records, his mother's maiden name. But one record has the husband's name as Samuel instead of Stephen A. Both records say they have had 4 children but only 3 are living in 1910. The record using Samuel has that the couple have been married 14 years; the record naming Stephen says they have been married 13 years which is more what I calculated from earlier census; but now the ancestry chart of Pam Schuler has given me the exact date of their marriage.

3519. Jewell Loving-17248

Janie: Note that there is another Jewell Loving, same time period, same location. This other Jewell was the daughter of E. Loving and her mother was M. E. Loving who was born in TN. M. E. Loving's parents born in TN. Be careful not to mix them up.

1748. Margaret Jane Terrell-14456

Copied from website http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~boulinea/86_1.htm
In Arkansas Pensioner 1818-1900 compiled by Dorothy E. Payne, on page 137 under the file for Thomas Poe TERRELL for the War of 1812 pension application is the information that Thomas Poe TERRELL married Ann JACKSON on 4 Sept 1824 and that their oldest daughter was Margaret Jane BOYETT. This family resided first in Chesterfield District, SC where they were married. In 1833 they moved to Sumter Co., AL, and in 1844 moved to Union Co., AR. By 1858 the family was residing in Ashley Co., AR. In the pension statement Margaret Jane BOYETT stated "that she had no brother or sister, living in the State of Arkansas, and that she was married in the year 1841."

Jackson Boyette-14457

Some records spell his name Boyette but on the census records 1850 & 1860 his name is spelled Boyett. I did not find the record for 1870 and in 1880 his name is spelled Boytt.
