Jackson, Jesse Benjamin (b. 1871) — also known as Jesse B. Jackson — of Columbus, Franklin County, Ohio. Born in Paulding, Paulding County, Ohio, November 19, 1871. Son of Andrew Carl Jackson and Lucy Ann (Brown) Jackson; married 1898 to Rosebelle Berryman (died 1928) and Mary Ann Hinton. Republican. Served in the U.S. Army during the Spanish-American War; U.S. Consul in Aleppo, 1908-23; Leghorn, 1923-28; Fort William-Port Arthur, 1928-35. Methodist. Member, Freemasons. Burial location unknown.

5605. Olive Edna Jackson-2223

I, Janie, note that another site has Olive's dau Elizabeth married in 1910 to Forest C. Miller. That cannot be possible given that Olive and Elmer were married in 1908. Olive's death certificate lists her as Olive E. Miller. So it was Olive who married Forest Miller, not the baby Elizabeth Frances.

I first had her name as Olive Earnestine, but Louise Jackson Lahmann tells me her name was Olive Edna. Since a sibling was named Cora Earnestine, I think it unlikely that both girls had the same middle name and will change Olive's middle name to Edna. Her death records merely give Olive E. Durfey.
