Descendants of Robert Jackson-554

Notes

8986. Arthur Walters-9743

Arthur is gone from the 1920 Census and is assumed deceased by then. He was also missing on Matella Prickett Doughman's list of children for Norman and Cassandra.

Huston 'Huse' Ford-9759

J. Booth, descendant, points out that his name was Huston (not Houston) Ford.

5590. John E. Walters-9748

In the 1930 census Dayton, Montgomery Co., Ohio the record says that John's father was from Germany. Double checking his father's 1900 census record says that David was born in Ohio but that his father was born in Germany. So it was John's grandfather, not his father that was from Germany.

William Harcum-9775

Williams birth location taken from his daughter, Iva's 1900 census record.

5597. Otho Carr Jackson-2498

From Lois E. Jackson: Otho was a School Superintendent near Cincinnati, Ohio.

5598. Rev. Edgar Starkey Jackson-2501

A descendant tells me that "Edger followed in his father's footsteps to become a Methodist preacher. He went east to attend seminary in New Jersey, not far from Rockaway, and after ordination, he served the Hempstead Methodist Church. His son, Edgar Newman Jackson, graduated from Hempstead High School in 1926. Neither of them knew of the Hempstead ancestor connection."
