Descendants of Robert Jackson-554

Notes

5497. Orville K. Jackson-2371

Census information on Orville and his family has been difficult to find. His sons Raymond and Charles have stated on census records that they were born in Kansas. I later found his daughter Myrta, age 13, born in KS, living with her aunt Anna Belle Jackson and uncle James T. Patterson in the 1900 census Verdigris Twp., Holt Co., Nebraska.

In the 1930 census Maderia, Hamilton Co., Ohio, Orville was 70 years old, living with his son Raymond and Raymond's wife Rachel.

8819. Raymond W. Jackson-9632

In the 1920 census Raymond and Rachel were living with her elderly parents, J. B. Mann and Annie M. Mann.

Edna Rachel Mann-9633

In the 1920 census Raymond and Rachel were living with her elderly parents, J. B. Mann and Annie M. Mann.

8820. Myrta M. Jackson-9634

Census information on Myrta has been difficult to find. At least her brothers, Raymond and Charles, have stated on census records that they were born in Kansas. I have found no census info for Myrta either before or after her marriage. Matella Prickett Doughman has written that Myrta married Orville Conant in 1906 and had children Harley b 1907; Opal b 1909; Leland b 1911; and Norma b 1912. I could find none of them in any census. Perhaps Orville's last name is misspelled??

LATER! I found Myrta in 1900 Census Verdigris Twp., Holt Co., Nebraska living with her aunt Anna Belle (Jackson) and uncle James T. Patterson. Her name is nearly illegible and looks like Mirtey M. Jackson. This Mirtey is born Aug 1886 in Kansas, same as Anna Belle's neice Myrta. So it's likely that Myrta and her husband were married in Nebraska. Mrs. Doughman records their marriage but not the location.

8822. James Patterson-2727

In the 1910 census for his parents, Anna records that she has had one child and that he is not living.

5506. Dr. Elmer Ellsworth Jackson-2381

From 'draagor': Dr. Elmer E. Jackson attended Goshen Academy; was graduated from Lebanon Normal University with the degree of B.S.; he worked for the Treasury Dept of Washington for 45 years."

Fr Mark Pullen's site: "Dr. Jackson received a degree as an MD in Howard University, Washington, DC in 1889."

5512. Martha 'Mattie' Jackson-2387

Martha's death certificate gives her birth date as 6 Feb 1880. But this is doubtful as her brother Blaine was born Dec 1879 per the 1900 census record. I (Janie) have not found Martha on the 1900 census.
