Stevens February 2, 1941. He died in 1988. She is survived by son, Phillip Stevens, Rockford, IL; daughter, Linda (Jay) Maddox, Rockton, IL; sister, Phyllis Meharry, Brownsburg, IN; granddaughters, Gena (Joe) Angelino, Schaumburg, IL; Jill (Corey) Urso, Stoughton, WI; Bridget (Steve) Kirr, Westland, MI; and great-grandchildren. Predeceased by husband, Paul; brothers, Richard and Hugh Edward Dooley; and sister, Virginia McIntosh. A Memorial Service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, October 9 at the Clermont Christian Church, 9204 Crawfordsville Road, Clermont, IN. Burial will take place in Oakland Cemetery, Elmdale, IN. Virginia Lee "Ginny" McIntosh 86, of Fishers, passed away August 11, 2008. She was born April 13, 1922 to Luther and Iona Jackson Dooley of New Richmond, IN. Ginny married Therill "Ted" McIntosh, who preceded her in death. She was a high school graduate and a bookkeeper for Ten Little Indians Daycare for over 18 years, retiring in 1987.
Visitation will be Thursday, August 14, 2008 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Shirley Brothers Fishers-Castleton Chapel, 9900 Allisonville Rd., with funeral services Friday, at 10:00 a.m.
Ginny is survived by her daughters, Cheryl (Larry) Simpson and Marylyn Paul; sons, Stan and Scott McIntosh; grandsons, Shelby (Beth) Simpson, Nicholas Simpson, and Joseph (Jody) Paul; and granddaughter, Kay (Greg) Griffith; two sisters, Ethel Stevens and Phyllis Meharry. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Reverend Hugh Edward Dooley and Richard Dooley. Elva Jackson, 76, 701 E. Market St., a resident of Crawfordsville for 20 years, died Wednesday morning at Culver Hospital. She had been in failing health for several months. She was born Oct. 18, 1886, in Montgomery County and her parents were Thomas L. and Anna McCormick Mason. On Oct. 18, 1907, she married Andrew C. Jackson. They lived north of Crawfordsville for several years before moving here 20 years ago. She was a member of the Youngs Chapel Christian Church. Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Edith Quisenberry of near Brownsburg; two sisters, Mrs. Helen Reed of Danville, Ill., and Mrs. Mae Thomas of Lafayette; a brother, Walter Mason of Marion, and seven grandchildren.
