6379. Cora Jackson-24412
Cora is listed as a granddau on the 1900 Census of Alva Jackson and his wife Helena Andrus. The best assumption of her parents is the oldest son of Alva and Helena, Theodore who married a Cora. The granddaughter Cora is listed as a daughter with Alva and Helena in the 1910 Census for Idaho Falls Ward 4, Bingham, Idaho. Note that Helena says she has had 6 children and there is a record of Helena's six children which does not include Cora. So the 1900 record of her being a granddau appears to be correct.

3429. Lafayette Granger Jackson-13477
It appears that Lafayette was named for his father's long-time partner and friend. A quote from his father's bio:
From the Progressive Men book, "A.H. Jackson was a prosperous resident of Bingham County, Idaho. In April 1864, his pioneering spirit led him to cross the continent and make his home in the West. Locating at Granger Station, in the present state of Wyoming. In May 1864 he at once entered the service of the Western Union Telegraph Co. for one year then conducted merchandising in association with Lafaytte Granger at a trading post in Porter until 1870.1880 Census Dist 27, Eagle Rock and Willow Creek, Oneida Co., Idaho

Linda Peling Alessio's record for Bertha has her birth as 28 Oct 1875.
3435. Edith 'Blanche' Jackson-6415
There is a picture of Edith Blanche and Edgar Peling on this site. See Table of Contents/Marriage Bonds & Family pictures.
Note from Linda Peling Alessio: "Edith was called by her middle name of Blanche. Her marriage certificate and her gravestone in Whiteboro Cemetery use the name Blanche Peling but much to this genealogist's surprise her death certificate lists her as Edith Blanche Peling of which I know to be correct."
Note from Linda Peling Alessio: "Edgar was listed as Eddie in the new 1881 Census for Hallowell, Prince Edward Co. I, Linda Alessio, am coming to believe that Edgar's first name may have been Edward, not Edgar as all the family maintain. His marriage certificate of which I have in my possession, also lists Edgar as Edward, but this also lists Edith Blanche as Blanche, when we now know that Edith was her first name as evidenced in her death certificate. According to Morley Jackson, it was common to use your middle name for many times the first name was of someone the parent admired but were not yet deceased; so to avoid confusion, they used their middle names. Sometimes they just prefered it that way. Ed died in his home on Foster Street in Whitesboro, NY. He was also popularly called Ed. This may not have been for Edgar?"
6389. Roy Peling-6558
Note from Art Hubbs 31 Aug 2008:
"Roy Clifford PelingHe joined the Canadian Army at Buffalo, New York , September 10 1918, next of kin - Blanche, mother, 19 West St., Whitesboro, N.Y.born July 2 1897 Hallowell, Prince Edward Island (sic), Canada.A cousin who was the family genealogist spent a number of years looking for her ancestors in Prince Edward ISLAND, Canada, before somebody informed they came from Prince Edward COUNTY, Ontario, many miles to the east."
6390. Tessie Peling-6560
Elizabeth Archer's email says that she died of consumption.
3436. John Henry Jackson-6416
There appears to be some confusion over the first names of John Henry's wives. Needs more research.
3441. Judah Earl Jackson-6419
Sept. 2009: A descendant has corrected this name from James Earl Jackson to Judah Earl Jackson.
