Jackson Family Genealogy
All Jackson DNA Project
This Jackson DNA Project is for all Jacksons, not just the Robert Jackson of Hempstead line! Any Jackson looking to break down a brick wall is encouraged to look into this possibility! And what an interesting new tool for genealogists this is turning out to be!
If
anyone is interested in ordering a test kit, it is recommended
that you order your kit from this page.
You will be ordering through the Jackson Project which is a bit less expensive.

Public ancestry summaries for the Hempstead Jackson Project cam be seen from the next link below. The information is broken
into sub-groups indicating:
(A-1) - those whose documentation plus DNA proves they are descendants of Robert of Hempstead,
(A-2) - those whose documentation is missing at some generation but the DNA proves their relationship.
(B-1) - those whose DNA matches Robert's descendants but their earliest ancestors migrated out of Virginia and no relationship
to Robert has been found. The earliest ancestor found here is a Samuel Jackson.
(B-2)- members who are conjectured to be descended from this Samuel of Virginia. These B-1 and B2 Jacksons are studied in what
we call the Virginia Project. (See Table of Contents on Home Page.)
(C)- is a member who recently tested to match Robert's DNA but
his earliest ancestor immigrated much later than Robert.

Find your genetic cousins worldwide - independently of which testing
service you have used! At each web site noted below you can
search using just the surname "Jackson" which will identify every
participant with that surname. Many of those listed will
have published their pedigree or patriarch and some will have
noted their email address so that you can make contact.
Oxford Ancestors does not allow you to access their database
unless you are a paying participant but they do have a
forum/message board at
http://www.forum.oxfordancestors.com/ that
can be used to attempt to make contact with a person of interest.
