Jerry Jackson sent me a CD full of his father's collection of newspaper articles about the marriages, births, anniversary celebrations, and yes obituaries for much of his large family. Quite a bounty that fills in a lot of info for the descendants of John Potts Jackson and his 16 children. John Potts was a Civil War Veteran so these papers covered many years.
Discovered a source I've used for Whitley County, Indiana is no longer good. In the process of trying to find a better source, I've corrected the surname of Isaac Allen Bradrick, husband of Lucinda A. Jackson of Ohio and added MANY Find-a-Grave references for folks who lived in Whitley County, Indiana!
Added info from Find-a-Grave for Gilbert, s/o Oscar Burton Robbins, author of the Jackson book. This allows Gilbert and his wife (with corrected surname) to show online.

Added family and descendants of James B. Jackson, grandson of Edward Jackson and Charity Polly Hill of Georgia. James, born in Georgia in 1818, migrated to Texas sometime between 1858 and 1860 with his wife and children. (Helen Strange.)

Added birth, death, burial info for Jane Myers, her husband William J. Martin and their children from find-a-grave site. Jane was granddaughter of David Jackson and Rachel Bracken of Georgia.
Charles Rutherford, a grandson of Ernest Rutherford, has sent a major correction to the family of Tempie Jackson and Ernest Rutherford of Milam County, Texas. I had taken info from Ernest's obituary which was wrong about his children! Further checking Milam County birth records verifies the descendant's information. I've always heard we should verify by more than one source, but I do tend to go with the first documentation I can find. In this case, the obituary was wrong.
Added information for the families of and descendants of Richard Jackson and Phebe Kissam of Dutchess County, New York. This is mostly (but not all) about the descendants of their daughter, Mary who married Henry Van Benschoten of Dutch descent. A descendant of theirs has written a whole book on the Van Benschotens with good genealogy and lots of family stories that I found very interesting. This book is similar to Oscar Robbins book on the Jacksons.

in Jerusalem/Wantagh area. Transcriptions for this cemetery are at both
'Cemeteries of Old Wantagh' (used to be Jerusalem)
and at Find-a-Grave. Discovered conflicting info for Almy Jackson wife of Henry Onderdonk Seaman and several others.
Added dates for children of Richard Jackson of Jerusalem. Both he and his wife died while their children were still young
and I have not found the children after the 1850 census. Research help needed here! Also learned Richard's second wife
was Jane E. Bunting.
